The Bahrain World Trade Center is the hallmark of a small but very rich oil state. The 240-meter (787-foot) double tower complex is located in Manama.

The skyscraper looks very technological thanks to the blades of three wind turbines mounted on bridges connecting the two towers.

Three wind generators, each with a capacity of 225 kW, are directed towards the sea, from where the wind blows most often. But even if the wind blows from the other side, for example from the side, or the wind is very weak, the generators will still rotate and generate electricity. The two towers form an air tunnel between them, where the wind intensifies and creates the necessary pressure on the generator blades. Generators generate about 1 GWh per year, or 15% of the building's total energy requirement.
