Because your next hunt begins, as soon as the current one ends. If by some miracle your still sitting on all that "free" money from a year or two ago, here's an idea on what you can do with it. I have to admit, not everyone can afford a home freeze dryer. If it wasn't for all that monopoly money our gov printed we wouldn't either. Decided to invest it in something that would benefit us in the long run. Anyway, it allows you to eat better in the backcountry, make yourself more self sufficient, and save some money in the very long run. Not to mention having all your dinners ready to go for summer scouting and the fall hunts. Or make your own emergency food.
