What’s Concerning Us? – Trump says he will target medical staff offering care to trans children if re-elected
Former president Donald Trump promised to weaponize the might of the federal government against transgender Americans if voters send him back to the White House next year.

He detailed these plans in a video shared on the platform Rumble, which is popular among conservative and far-right users.

Some would restore policies enacted during his administration by executive orders that were overturned by President Joe Biden, while other proposals were more extreme or would face an unclear path to implementation because they would require acts of Congress.

Trump began by inveighing against guideline-directed medical care for the treatment of gender dysphoria in minors – practices that are approved by every major mainstream American and international scientific and medical institution with relevant clinical expertise.

- The St. Francis de Sales Signature Set are representative of why St. Francis was so well-received during the Counter-Reformation, and indeed, throughout history. Introduction to the Devout Life is his efforts to help other souls love God like he did; Consoling Thoughts expresses his love for suffering souls in giving them solace and exhortation to continue; Sermons relay his daily love for his flock, preaching to them about the different aspects God’s love; and finally, Catholic Controversies is his apologetical love, exerting effort to win souls back to the Church. Perhaps more than any other saint, St. Francis preached truth with love. His teachings, his works, and his very presence were consoling to those 72,000 lost souls of Switzerland and to millions of more over the centuries. Now, then, it is our hope that they will offer hope, consolation to a new generation of Catholics and spur on greater love of God and neighbor.

-ST. FRANCIS DE SALES (1567-1622) was the Bishop of Geneva during the Catholic Counter-Reformation. The son of an aristocrat, he discerned to eschew politics for the priesthood.In Geneva, St. Francis applied his deep faith and gentle approach to address the errors of Protestantism, reverting numerous Calvinists back to Catholicism. For his writings on spiritual direction, St. Francis was named a Doctor of the Church, specifically “the Doctor of Charity.”
