In this new series on the prayers and pray-ers of the Bible we continue by looking at the prayer life of Jesus. Hebrews 5:7-10 tells us that Jesus was made perfect in how He handled suffering and that He handled suffering through having an active prayer life. We walked through the ministry of Jesus and explored these elements of His life and the lessons and example the give us.

4. Luke 6:12 – Before making big decisions

9. Luke 9:18 – With His students
10. Luke 9:28 – With His best friends
11. John 11:41 – In the face of the impossible
12. John 12:28 – Seeking God’s glory
13. Matthew 19:13 – To bless others
14. Matthew 26:36-46 – Struggling with God’s will
15. Luke 23:34 – Entering into God’s forgiveness
16. Matthew 26:46 – When struggling with despair
