You're feeling discouraged with fear and disaster
You feel like you cannot go on
You've fallen so low now you can't face the Master
Here's something you should think upon

If you are facing a trial or temptation
A pain that cannot be hid
Remember, He already did

He was tempted and tried on every side
He suffered and died on Mount Calvary
He overcame bitterness, anger, and pride
And He did it all for you and me

Remember you're purchased, bought with a price
There's nothing that can change that bid
So if you are hoping someone's paid your price

He's standing with arms wide open
Confess it and He will forgive
He's everything you have been hoping
Just die to yourself and you'll live

He died to show us a type of repentance
His burial says be baptized
And when He arose meant new life and acceptance
Is yours for the rest of your life

If you think you are not worth the bother
Heaven is not what you'll get
That no no one would plead your case to the Father
