AION is a high fantasy tab targeting MMORPG from Korea that released all the way back in 2008 and is still played to this day with the somewhat recent release of AION classic servers.
AION back in the day was massively popular reaching heights of 3.5 million subscribers in Asia.
AION combines a mix of both PVP and PVE content with Dungeons, Raids, World Bosses, open world PVP, arena, Large Scale PVP Fortress Sieges featuring hundreds of players and longform RNG progression that’s typical to most Korean MMOs
As a casual though you’d probably just remember AION as one of the first MMOs next to Perfect World where players could fly around and fight monsters in the air with wings from their backs.
Other than that AION also has professions, player housing, pet collection, mount collection and the tab targeting combat features an interesting combo system.
