Protest at PA Rep. Thomas Mehaffie III's Office - February 1, 2023

On February 1, 2023, people gathered from all over the state at Representative Thomas Mehaffie III's District Office in Hershey, PA. Some people were there to support Mehaffie, and some people were there to protest him.

The people there to support Mehaffie were happy with what he has done for them. They support him voting as he sees fit. They don't have an issue with the Democrat speaker of the House shutting down the House. These unions were represented: Teamsters, builders, teachers and chocolate workers.

Those protesting were upset at Rep. Mehaffie for voting for a Democrat Speaker of the House since Rep. Mehaffie is a Republican. The protesters were upset he was refusing to sign the Sunshine Directive which would allow the House to get back to work by bypassing the Speaker of the House. Currently Republicans are one vote shy to pass the Sunshine Directive. The following grassroot groups were represented: PA Patriot Coalition, FreePA, Berks County Patriots, LVTP, and Patriots of Lancaster and Chester County (PA Patriots).
