Seventh Day Adventism Anti-Catholic Claims Addressed (Part 1)

Here are the claims we will be addressing in today's video.

Claim: The Catholic Church was created by Constantnie in 325 (according to Ellen White)

Claim: The pope calls himself the God on Earth. In reality the Pope is the devil on earth. The pope is the anti-Christ. That we call the Pope, Lord God the Pope.

Claim: Hell was invented by the Catholic Church -Ellen white

Claim: Faith was transferred from Christ, the true foundation, to the pope of Rome. They were taught that the pope was their earthly mediator and nobody could approach God except through him. They were taught not only to look to the pope as their mediator, but to trust their own works in order to atone for their sins.

Claims: Catholics killed everyone who disagreed with them.

Claim: Popery had become the world’s deposit in the 13th century…The holy Scriptures were almost unknown, not only the the people but also the the priest. Like the Pharisees of old, the papist leaders hated the light which would reveal their sins. …for centuries Europe had made no progress in learning, arts, or civilization. A moral and intellectual paralysis had fallen on Christendom with no progress in learning, arts, or civilization.

Claim: Papist priest pretended, by their senseless mummery, to convert the simple Bread and Wine into the actual body and blood of Christ. With Blasphemous presumption, they openly claim of creating God, the creator of all things.

Claim: The Catholic Church promulgated indulgences which gave a full remission of sin, past, present, and future, and released from all Pains of penalties incurred for those who promised to enlist in the pontiff’s wars to extend his temporal Dominion or…to exterminate those who dare deny his spiritual Supremacy.

Claim: The Catholic Church changed worship to Sunday to worship the sun god.
