The people have been locked out of our own government

We interview BC Nurse Corinne Mori on the Vaccine Mandates and major failings of the B.C. Nurses Union - and most of our unions nation-wide.

Corinne Mori was terminated from her job as a nurse in B.C. because she would not agree to accept a forced vaccination with an experimental product as demanded by the BC Government and the Health Authorities across our province. 
As a union member, Ms. Mori cannot go to any court to protect her interests. She has to instead go through a "union Collective Agreement process" that should lead to an arbitration and a decision.  But the BC Nurses Union did not adequately do that for the thousands of nurses who lost their jobs because they would not get vaccinated as ordered.  These nurses would not allow an untested and unproved vaccine to be injected into them, and so they lost their jobs.  And their union did not fight for them.

And interestingly, in 2019, the union movement had gone through a process to fight a 'Get Vaccinated or Wear a Mask' Flu Policy imposed on hospital workers.  That rule had been taken to 'arbitration' in Ontario, by unions, and they won because the science did not show that vaccines or masks protected against influenza transmission.  So nurses and others did NOT have to get vaccinated for the flu, or wear a mask if they didn't agree. The Ontario Nurses Union and the BC Nurses Union , both overturned the VOM policy.  BCNU overturned the policy in 2019 where "no nurse would ever be disciplined again for not receiving a vaccination or not wearing the mask"

But the unions did not fight back against the Covid vaccine mandates, even though both are considered 'viral illnesses', fall under the same 'respiratory illness category' and are treated similarly in terms of intervention and etc.

There are layers of protection in place for Canadians that 'should' protect us from this forced vaccine mandate.  But, there was no one to enforce the regulations and laws that do exist to protect us. Neither the governments nor the courts ... or our unions or the media .. have fought to protect the rights that we may have thought we had.  And so thousands of nurses and thousands of other health care workers have lost their jobs ... which has damaged the entire health care system across BC and led to closures of emergency rooms in many towns and cities.  Everyone is paying a price for this, and in Ontario we are seeing a similar situation leading to even more privatization of our health care system. 

And all of it is based on an "official Covid story' that is so full of holes it would sink if ever looked at .. but neither our media nor our courts nor our politicians nor our government officials nor our unions will dare question The Official Covid Story ....  because ... at this time in Canada ... questions are not allowed.  And that is the state of our democracy in the year 2023.
