New Henhouse build | Overview.

We're building new henhouses.

This is the first build of one, featuring some pretty big brain ideas.
-Pallets on the bottom with a "flow though" support system that allows waste litter to fall though
-A reused french door with lots of windows that will allow the hens to "wake with the sun". Bonus points for recycling :)
-A full frame flip up roof that will allow ingress and egress.
-Innovative Roll-Out nest boxes that are integrated into the house to keep eggs clean and un-cracked.
-Externally placed henhouse - put on the outside of the pen to allow easier cleanup and no-entry egg collection.

This house is capable of holding between 30-40 hens overnight. Obviously, not long-term inside as the hens have a run to scratch through. The house is tractor moveable, making maintenance and cleaning a breeze.
