The mini-series exposes the actual reality of ideological indoctrination, the limitation of individuality, and the involvement of the Soviet system in a child's upbringing.
It calls to draw parallels between the new ideologies being pushed on modern-day children.
The video has a lot of text written over some footage (creative commons, author's personal archives) as it was originally posted on YouTube and was flagged for "sensitive" content.
Part II will be published with fewer limitations.
Part I of the 4 part series "USSR Generation X: We outlived the Socialism" depicts a story based on personal experiences from 1970's to 1985 and reflects on education and social skills we received in Soviet school.
