Gluten Free Maple Cake - Maple Apple Jack Syrup | Chef Terry

I saw a recipe online that looked interesting. It was for a Maple Whiskey cake. I wanted to try it. First , I converted it to gluten free. Then since I didn't have and whiskey or bourbon I used Apple Jack. This Maple Cake reminds me a lot of Sticky Toffee Pudding

Ingredients
1/3 cup Apple Jack, Sub Bourbon or Whiskey
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Maple Syrup, The Good Stuff
1 cup Oat Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/2 cup Butter, Melted
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Large Egg
1/2 to 3/4 cup Toasted Pecans, Sub Walnuts
