Kiwi temperature difference during a cold spell

I purchased some greenhouse plastic to put over my kiwi during the spring to protect them from late frost. This winter we had extended temperatures down to 7 degrees F. I was not sure how the kiwi would fare, so I put my plastic up and ran propane at night.
