Only some Asian elephants have tusks but both male and female African elephants have tusks and their ears are larger than Asians.

An adult African elephant weighs between 4,000-7,000kg, and an Asian male weighs between 3000-6,000kg. The size of a fully grown African elephants size is up to 4 m high and an Asian is about 3.5 m.
