Sometimes, I would look at the sky and just wonder why after all these years, I still haven't figured what it is that I really want in life. Sure, when I was young, I would answer 'doctor' or 'lawyer' when asked in class about what I wanted to be, and I always meant it. And then life happened and as it turned out, reality changes people's dreams. Sometimes, it even makes us realize that we're not good at things that we're passionate about and believe me, that shit breaks people.
I do have my share of broken pieces. I do have my scars. But I also have my dreams, and my little hope is if even the smallest of them can't come true, when what's meant for me finally finds me, I don't feel sad for the things I didn't get or for the person I didn't become. That I still find the beauty in this universe and always remember how I'm a part of something big and beautiful. That's what my heart hopes for.
