Friday Night Frenzy | Alex Murdaugh Murder Trial Week 1 Update. FTX Bankruptcy Investigation of SBF.

It's been a busy week as we've seen the start of a trial several of us have long been interested in, the trial of disbarred attorney, Alex Murdaugh. We've got a lot to discuss, so pull up a seat and get comfortable.

On the docket:

Alex Murdaugh Murder Trial Week 1 - The trial of former South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh began this week in Colleton County, SC. Murdaugh is accused of fatally shooting his wife, Maggie Murdaugh, and his 22-year-old son, Paul Murdaugh, in the summer of 2021. The trial features some big personalities on both sides of the aisle, and we're got some first week fireworks to discuss.

FTX Bankruptcy & SBF Investigation - the FTX U.S. entities and the Bahamian Joint Provisional Liquidators appear to have reached a truce in how to proceed with the Ch. 11 bankruptcy investigation and restructuring. This appears to be good news for everyone, except for Mr. Bankman-Fried and his inner circle, who find themselves on the end of some joint discovery/examination requests for information and documents.
