Don't try this people. Hopefully we were able to collect some good data and expel some common rumor that the Japanese Arisaka is a bad rifle. A lot of GIs returning from WW2 claimed that the rifles would explode when fired, and that they were of very poor quality. Nothing could be further from the truth. They are very well made rifle and likely the strongest bolt action rifle of WW2. They can be made into very attractive sporting rifles if desired, and many have been re barreled to more common calibers with little effort. We may revisit this subject in a future date, but for now, send your requests for the next torture test and we will try to accommodate it.
