FUN FACTS: Less than 1% of whites owned slaves, and that was the richest 1% (many of whom were Jewish). Slavery only took place in the South, and that encompassed less than 5% who could afford slaves. The cost of buying a black slave was equal to a year's salary, not to mention costs of feeding, clothing, housing and medical care. 24% of free blacks in America owned slaves (the highest percentage of any racial group by far). White slaves were still being sold in Africa and the Middle East for decades after slavery was abolished in the West. No other country has provided black people more freedom and opportunity than America. The KKK killed a total of 1,200 people during their entire reign, 300 of those people were white (the KKK was the intimidation arm of the DemocRAT party, similar to BLM & AntiFa today). Each year blacks kill between 7,000 and 9,000 fellow blacks. The longest record for a Filibuster was 60 days and that was when the DemocRATs were opposing the Civil Rights Act.
