THE FAST AND THE FROSTY: IcePlate® Curve Enhances Race Car Driver Performance

In search of the most efficient and most effective in-car driver cooling and hydration solution, the crew from Matt Connolly Motorsports purchased three IcePlate Curves in May 2022. We recently had a chance to catch up with them at Virginia International Speedway to see what their experience using IcePlate Curve during races has been over the last few months.

Since launch in August 2016, IcePlate has a storied history of “off-label” use. Originally designed at the request of the US Army when they asked us to “solve the body armor cooling problem for Soldiers,” IcePlate now protects hundreds of thousands of people across a diverse array of industries and applications. From drive thrus to drone pilots, recon to race cars, IcePlate is Building A Superhuman Future one watt and one ounce at a time.
