Long Snowy Hike to the Carpathian Mountains in Romania

Hiking in winter is a very unique, rewarding experience! But can we survive 9hrs in the Carpathian Mountains alone? 😱

It's surely crazy to think about it, but having the courage to get out of our comfort zone - and still have fun - is something The Travelling Foxes love to do! Would you dare to join our winter expedition?

Piatra Craiului National Park has hundreds of trails and you can even stay overnight in one of the beautiful mountaintop cabanas. For us, we stayed at Zarnesti - the nearest big town.
