Bangkok 48 Hour Challenge - Street Food, Tourist Attractions, Shopping (Thailand) - Vlog 20

Last April, Nat was invited to Air Asia's inaugural flight from Manila - Bangkok. The invitation came with a twist - she had to be partnered with a contest winner and they had to do different challenges all around Bangkok. They did not know what to expect, but it was definitely a trip to remember!

When they landed at the airport, they were hosted in Hotel Ibis. They stayed there for the duration of our trip. The following day, they started the activities. Here's a sneak peek of the challenges:

1. Go bargain shopping in Platinum Mall with a 2,000 Baht budget. Let us know if we did well!
2. Ride a Tuktuk from Platinum Mall to Erawan Shrine. Make sure you get a good price because Tuktuks tend to give a different price to expats!
3. Make a wish at Erawan Shrine.
4. Ride the Asiatique Sky Riverside Bangkok.
5. Eat 3 types of street food, and the choices are a scorpion, grasshopper, silkworm, crickets, bamboo worms, or waterbugs. This was the most difficult challenge for me!
6. Visit the Snake Farm (Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute). Okay, maybe this was my worst challenge. Watch to find out why!
7. Find the best Hole in the Wall and order Pad Thai and Tom Yum.

There are so many things you can experience in Bangkok, and we are happy that Air Asia took us here for the 48 Hours Chasing Wonders in Bankok.
