Taken from the album "It'll End in Tears" released in 1984 by "This Mortal Coil" - this is a live version from 1983 of the track "Song To The Siren".
Performed here by singer Elizabeth Fraser, and guitarist Robin Guthrie of the Cocteau Twins.
This Mortal Coil were basically a collective of different artists brought together under the name - releasing three very good albums between 1984 and 1991 on the 4AD label.
All are worth checking out.
This particular track is especially wonderful, if a little shorter than the album version, which spans three and a half minutes.
Also is only in Mono sound - which I enhanced a little, but didn't want to change to - fake - stereo.
