Wandering Wagners RV Life: Winter camping is turning into Spring Camping! We visited Delaware State Park in Delaware, Ohio.
We had to stay closer to home this weekend, due to work, and we have never camped here in the off-season so we figured we'd give it a try!

This park is kind of known for flooding, which is never a good thing with all of the snow melt we've had recently. Luckily our site we randomly picked online, while we were on our way down to the park, turned out to be a pretty good one! There was no standing water and it wasn't muddy... WIN!

Once we were there, we met up with @FollowingtheFitchs who were also camping at the park in a nearby row. We have been trying for awhile to get Piper to meet their dogs and like them, but so far without luck. Our Vet prescribed some medicine to help calm her nerves around other dogs and new people, and it seemed to be doing well, so Mike took Piper over to meet Wade. the meeting was probably the closest she's been to another dog, other than Guy in almost a year! She wasn't always mean towards other dogs, but within the last year she's been pretty mean. We know she can be friendly because she was never like that towards dogs in the beginning of us owning her. Time will tell if we can conquer her fears together!

The next day, we wanted to do some trails but after seeing the trail conditions we decided to leave Guy and Piper behind and take them on a walk on the pavement when we got back.
It was Muddy and very wet in places, but overall we had a beautiful sunny hike!

Later @Rollin with the Bolens stopped by as they were in the area. This was the first time we met the fellow Ohioians, so that was great to finally meet up.

Burgers on the grill? Yes, please!
The updates from last video, regarding our jobs came next.
I was asked by a neighboring nuclear utility to help support their plant because they were having staffing issues recently due to an illness. I decided to give it a try to see how a different utility and nuclear power plant operates vs my home plant, Davis-Besse. Man, is it different! 😂 Great learning experience though, and the people at Fermi have been pretty great I must say.
Mike has been promoted at his job at Trainco Truck Driving Schools as well! He's currently the Training Manager, and Trainco is expanding their classes to a local community college and re-starting the college truck driving school, so Mike was asked to lead that up until it gets going. We've both had some different work things going on lately which is great but we've both been crazy busy with work!

Overall it was an amazing weekend with lots of laughs around the campfire, and over 11 miles of hiking/walking!

Stay tunes for next weeks video where we plan to show you all of the Super C maintenance we need to do and maybe even some organization of the interior!
