PHOENIX, ARIZONA— Members of the media are invited on Thursday to join lawmakers from both the Arizona State Senate and the Arizona House of Representatives at a press conference to address the public health crisis in Arizona due to open borders and the resulting importation of crime, illegal narcotics, human smuggling and sex trafficking.
In attendance will be Chairman of the House Health & Human Services Committee Representative Steve Montenegro, Chairman of the Senate Military Affairs, Public Safety & Border Security Committee Senator David Gowan, Chairman of the House Military Affairs & Public Safety Committee Representative Kevin Payne, Chairman of the Senate Health & Human Services Committee President Pro Tempore T.J. Shope, former U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan, retired Captain from the Texas Department of Public Safety's Intelligence and Counterterrorism Division Jaeson Jones, retired Supervisory Special Agent with U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement - Homeland Security Investigations Victor Avila, as well as other members of the Arizona State Legislature.
Speakers will take questions from the media at the conclusion of their remarks.
