Michelle Botello is the President of Hearts Undivided Inc. She has been uncovering fraud that happened in her own custody case. In 2011, Michelle’s abuser gained custody of her child. The abuser happened to be dating a social worker, on record, which gave her pause to investigate. This decision lead her to form Families Against Legal Kidnapping, a Facebook group which has evolved into a the nonprofit now known as Hearts Undivided, Inc. She is an undergrad majoring in Criminal Justice and soon have her degree and will move on to law school! Michelle has 3 children, and has custody of her youngest child. She is currently in the process of overturning a forced adoption due to the fraud she discovered. Michelle had been skeptical of the family court handling her case, even before her judge refused to recuse himself. She decided to explored her case and discovered the corruption within family court! Michelle advocates for parents in similar situations as hers to help prevent these awful judicial decisions. Her path is now to be an attorney that will fight for truth and justice!
