Here is a look at one of the tastiest, most common, and easiest to ID mushrooms in the spring in the PNW. Pleurotus Ostreatus (among other species like P. pulmonarius, commonly known as the Oyster Mushroom can be found fruiting in the woods in the spring time when decaying matter, temperature, and moisture are just right.
