Exploring abandoned stadium in Bulgaria 🇧🇬

I like abandoned stuff - it's cool. It's not often you get to go to an abandoned stadium, but I spotted somewhere only that this football stadium in Plovdiv was abandoned, well, at least the stands and surrounding stuff was abandoned, but the pitch and the running track were still in use and in pretty good condition.

Is there any cool abandoned stuff where you live?

There are cool abandoned places everywhere, and Bulgaria is a hot spot for abandoned things because of the huge abandoned soviet monument, the Buzludzha monument which looks like a spaceship.

I saw somebody post on Reddit that it annoys them that people come to Bulgaria to find abandoned buildings, do they not have abandoned buildings in their own country? Yes, every country has abandoned buildings, but in the UK, land is hard to come by and it's bought up and used, or it's fenced off and you'll get caught trespassing and so on.

If you're going to do some urban exploration, please leave things how you found them, to an extent, and don't damage anything. Leave the spray paint at home, or in the bin and don't hurt yourself. A good rule of thumb is that if there's no graffiti, and it looks dangerous, then the graffiti vandals thought it was too dangerous to do their thing, so maybe watch out.
