Novi Sad seems a bit different than the rest of Serbia 🇷🇸

As we've been in Serbia for a couple of weeks and releasing videos whilst we're here, some people told us that we should visit Novi Sad in the north of Serbia, in a region called Vojvodina.

Vojvodina is an autonomous province of Serbia, like Republika Srpska in Bosnia Herzegovina. I recently learnt about Vojvodina whilst watching a video about the break up of Yugoslavia in the early 90s, and before that, I'd never heard of it.

The centre, the capital you could say of Vojvodina is Novi Sad. Novi Sad has a mix of cultures, which stems from its past. It was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Yugoslavia, and is now part of Serbia, so as you can image, a lot of influence in this region.

We noticed that there was a totally different feel and look to Novi Sad when comparing to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

In the video we walk through the streets, check out a church and then head up to the fortress to see the views over Novi Sad and the Danube.

Have you been to Novi Sad or anywhere else in Vojvodina?
