Travelling across Ukraine before war 🇺🇦

How about a journey across half of the second biggest country in Europe to a town called Monastyryshche?

We were in Kyiv, which you'll have seen if you watched my video about the 1100km journey across 3 countries. We were supposed to meet a Ukrainian YouTuber in Lviv, which is near Poland, right at the edge of Ukraine, so we jumped on an intercity train to get there which took 6 hours.

After spending a week or so in Lviv, it was time to visit Tanya's parents, who live pretty much in the centre of Ukraine and there's no direct train line.

We had to get on an intercity train to a city called Vinnytsia, which arrived at night, stay the night in Vinnytsia then we were picked up by a guy called Roman in his car using BlaBlaCar, which took us to Monastyryshche, which is the nearest town to Tanya's parents village, then we got a taxi to the village.

The intercity trains from Kyiv to Lviv and Lviv to Vinnytsia were totally different although we chose first class on them both. Not sure which I preferred actually. The first trip we were in a small compartment, and the second we were in an open carriage.

Ukraine is a huge country and the intercity trains make it a bit easier to get between cities, but it's still pretty slow in my opinion.
