Mayan Ruins in Tulum, Mexico 🇲🇽

If you're in Cancun, you'll constantly get offered to go on tours by hundreds of different sales agents who all try to rip you off but they are friendly in the process, so it doesn't feel like you're being ripped off. You can just go on your own, which we did.

Please pay attention to the maps at the start if you're going to go to this archaeological site in Tulum for the Mayan ruins because if you go to the place I mentioned first, you'll lose lots of money for parking which is totally unnecessary. Park for free on the road which is so much closer than where they tried to make us pay the foreigner prices. This is a problem in Mexico I've found, well at least in Cancun. As soon as they see that you're foreign, the prices go up.

Overall this archaeological site in Tulum is pretty nice with great views, and it's only 80 pesos to get in so it's worth doing if you've got a car to get to it. If you had to pay for a tour bus and guide etc, I wouldn't actually recommend it.
