After YEARS of searching... we FINALLY found this! Totally by accident...

First, Kim and I travel WAY out into the Cumberland Mountain range to hike a "wild trail" that really wasn't a HIKING trail, as it turns out. Straight up the mountain, but totally worth it. Kim's truck also gets some offroad time.

On our way there... we accidentally stumbled upon something that I've been looking for... for a very long time. I've been to MANY sites and hiked many miles looking for an abandoned coal mine that was accessible. They have always turned out to be sealed, flooded or both. Well... the search is over! Obviously, this is a dangerous thing to do... which is why we're going back with better equipment and more people.

My name is Jed Hutcheson and I'm 40 years old. I've always loved video editing, travel and exploring abandoned places. Also, I've always been a fan of the STRANGE, DARK and MYSTERIOUS.
