Hi, I'm Steph, We do a little food storage and prepping around here. Today I want to share with you how to water glass your eggs. Preserving your eggs before winter hits is a great way to store your eggs for when your chickens don't lay as much. Also having food on hand is an excellent start to prepping your food storage.
You will need 1/2 gallon mason jars: https://amzn.to/3WCkpvo
Pickling lime: https://amzn.to/3Hbb47U
Fresh clean unwashed eggs
Add 4 tablespoons or 1 oz of pickling lime to a quart of water
Add your pickling solution to your 1/2 quart mason and fresh eggs
Store for 2 years.
