TORO is a giant in the outdoor power equipment category and produces some fo the best, if not the best mowers around. When it comes to residential mowers, TORO seems to include more standard features than any other machine on the market.
Being a taller guy, fitting on a lower end residential zero-turn can sometimes be a challenge. Other brands seem to reduce legroom causing the drive bars to hit your knees while trying to drive the mower. TORO not only includes the room needed for taller people, they include adjustable seats and the MyRide system to ensure that riders of all sizes are comfortable.
While this video goes over the differences between a TORO Timecutter and a TORO Titan, there is one common option on each machine that you should consider. MyRide is available on either machine! The MyRide system has 3 Coilover shocks that suspend the operator over the frame allowing for them to ride in comfort while the deck stays flat over the terrain. This gives the operator a superior ride and also provides the best cut quality over other styles of suspension. It is an option that really stood out on our Titan model.
This video concentrates on differences between these two residential zero-turn mowers, the performance and cut quality were very similar. The Titan has the edge with a high blade tip speed, but overall the mower's performance was very similar to other commercial zero-turn mowers that we own and use weekly.
These two TORO zero-turn mowers are great performers and from our experience, are sure to treat you well. If we can answer any direct questions, please leave them below. We are happy to help!
