If you watch the first test and make your decision that the Milwaukee CP3.0 High Output has more power than the DEWALT PowerStack, you "might" be wrong. We circle back to that test after the DEWALT PowerStack is warm and things change. In the end, the CP3.0 HO will last much longer than the DEWALT PS, but that is what we would expect from a 1.7Ah battery Vs a 3.0Ah battery.

Overall, the performance of both the DEWALT and Milwaukee Tool batteries is impressive! Move up in each brand to the 8.0Ah battery and those drills will become more powerful because of the greater Amp output and higher held voltage of a 2P battery cell.

Milwaukee Tool will come out with a flat cell battery pack similar to the PowerStack and it would not surprise me if they come out with it very quickly. Other brands have since tried to show off similar technology so they can claim to be keeping up with the Pro's, but the reality to me is that this new technology has to be tested and proven. I feel comfortable that DEWALT and Milwaukee Tool will do that as large corporations. Privately held tool companies might not put as much R&D into it.
