Channeling Aphrodite: What You See Matters, Now Ask Questions!

I channel Aphrodite who shares two distinctive visions, both providing an in-depth exploration into the importance of paying attention. This isn't just about seeing, it's about the process of acknowledging and asking questions about what you see, as well as looking for clues in other directions you haven't thought to look in. This is about building stronger relationships, a stronger society, and it's all inspired by the gift of Sight, first and foremost, and then the gift of Investigation, and then Communication. Here's a little more discussion into the two visions:

THE FIRST VISION: We see men at work, building a beautiful architectural structure out of stone, built to withstand the test of time. The odd part is, they are building the structure with pickaxes, a useful tool for chipping away, not for building. This is a clue to Aphrodite's message about Sight. She is asking us to acknowledge what we're looking at, and if there are questions to be asked, then to ask them. Strike up a conversation. You may be surprised by how many people aren't fully aware of what they are doing until you bring it to their attention with a kind question. There is no need to break people down in the process of asking them to explain their process and what they're trying to accomplish. In this vision, we are trying to build a structure here, but it's more than a building, it's a sturdy relationship or societal structure, and how do we build anything better if not through asking questions and sharing in supportive communication. But this whole process will only exist if you choose to pay attention, acknowledge what doesn't fit, and make a point to ask a question.

THE SECOND VISION: We are revealed this image in the beginning, the cutting of a paper thin wall, and it's cut from top to bottom from left to right, and in the shape of a cross. This is a trickier message, also referencing Sight. Aphrodite is showing us how we can get hung up on trying to make sense of something that isn't meant to be understood. It's just a diversion. The longer you spend making sense of a diversion, the more time goes by that you aren't looking in the right direction. We have to remember to ask questions, don't get hung up on one piece of the puzzle, find out what you aren't looking at. This message is more intense as it can be the well-being or the end of the human race if we don't start paying attention, investigating, and speaking up.
