Transformers WFC - Kingdom Red Alert Review

In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Kingdom War for Cybertron Autobot deluxe class Red Alert. This is Red Alert in his Earth Lamborghini mode.

Both modes are very well done. This is a solid mode that’s worked well for many iterations (Sideswipe, Deep Cover, Red Alert, etc.) and continues to work well here. I’m especially appreciative of the fact that there are no mushroom pegs on the wheels!

Articulation is good. He suffers a little bit in the feet, and his head is restricted when using the shoulder mounted launcher, but I have a way around that.

Quality is a concern. I have a very loose left knee, and a loose chest that won’t stay put in bot mode. I hope it’s just my copy.

Overall value is on point with MSRP. I paid $24 at a local Walgreen’s drug store.

My conclusion – Red Alert is a copy of Sideswipe, but a pretty good copy nonetheless. This is a figure you can probably pass on unless you’re a huge fan of the character or a completionist. If you do pick him up, I think you’ll enjoy having him standing by the side of Optimus Prime and the rest of his Autobot compatriots taking on Megatron and the Decepticon forces.
