Single circuit breaker wired with a built in double tap. #electrical

A "double tap" is a term used to describe a wiring issue where two wires are connected to a single terminal on a circuit breaker or electrical outlet. This is considered to be a dangerous and improper installation, as it can cause the terminal to overheat and potentially start a fire. Double tapping can occur when an electrician or DIYer is trying to add a new circuit and doesn't have enough room on the panel to do so, so they connect the new wire to an existing terminal that already has a wire connected. This is not recommended and not code compliant and should be corrected by a licensed electrician.

Fortunately, this breaker was designed for a 2 wire installation. So no problems here.
