In this clip from Cowboy Logic's 1/21/23 show, Ronald McAbee can be seen on high-definition footage that has never before been seen: HELPING OFFICERS IN PERIL: -- The video also shows McAbee protecting officers in the chaos. “You have a man down!” He tells the line of officers. -- As he blocks the angry crowd from the line of officers with his own body, he yells back to the protestors, “No! Quit!” -- At another point, McAbee says to the officer, “I’m 'trying to help you.” “I know, I know, help me up,” the officer says back to him. -- On at least two separate occasions, officers thank McAbee for his assistance. “Thank you.” “Hey, thank you man. Appreciate you,” officers said to McAbee. ATTEMPTING TO RENDER EMERGENCY AID: -- McAbee can be seen grabbing medical supplies out of a first aid kit and giving first responder instructions to those helping Rosanne Boyland. He and other good samaritans then move her body. (Disturbingly, officers continue to attack the men even as they attempt to render CPR.) -- Later he tries one more time to save her life by giving her chest compressions. REMAINING DEFENSIVE: -- The video shows that McAbee himself is being assaulted, not the other way around. -- His hands remain in a defensive position as he is pushed into the tunnel by the crowd.
