Planting garlic “seeds” (bulbils) into a raised garden bed

Last growing season I purchased music garlic from Josh @Citystead

I left some garlic scapes on the hard neck garlic to harvest some of the “seeds” bulbils. They have many names from bulbils, bulblets, or pups. These bulblets should be planted approximately 1-2 inches away from each other. This year they should grow about the size of a garlic clove and next year they should bulb and grow into a head of garlic. These bulblets are a true to type “seed” so it will grow to be an exact match to the parent plant.
