A King Has Come | Luke 2 | Austin Hamrick

The word “kingdom” appears 126 times in the Gospels alone. Heaven is the kingdom, Jesus is its King, and the only people who are given access into the kingdom are those who have surrendered their lives to King Jesus. Many people are still the “King” of their own lives – they make their own decisions, follow their own desires, and do what they want when they want. Others feel they can add Jesus to their lives and have a “coregency” – they rule their lives some of the time, and let Jesus rule the other part of the time. However, unless one completely surrenders to King Jesus, they don’t have the eternal promise of entering the kingdom. Does any of this describe you? Have you given your life to King Jesus, or do you still sit on the “throne” of your life? Join us for our special Christmas message.
