David Vaka is the guest in Season 2, Episode 2. What a social impact this man, my friend, has had over many years of being a pastor, influencer and entrepreneur! In our chat, we firstly cover his early days in Tonga, gender roles, and the impact of tragic suffering in his early life. We also explore some of the critiques that can be offered of Christian evangelism and "kingdom entrepreneurial business practice". Questions such as the following are tackled: what response should we expect when we evangelise with honesty and integrity and love; who/what has been progressing the discussion of gender in the past 50 years; what can we say about the errors and problems in our past conduct (as individuals and leaders) in the church; how lasting and admirable is the impact of influencers such as Andrew Tate?
