Wrong Advice: Money Does Not Buy Happiness | Lie of the Rich

Same old, same old. That is one of the biggest lies out there. No one in their right mind in 2023 needs to think that money does not impact your state of life. Nobody says that having money itself should be a precursor for whatever "happiness" metric you have. But aren't we all aware that literally EVERYTHING a human would want would require some financial capability?

One lie for example is "do not waste your health on the money". What an idiotic statement. Do you realize that you need money for HEALTH? How in the world are you going to pay for your medical bills? And do not tell me about you burning out at work or business, there is maybe 0.1% of humans on planet Earth who are genuinely that committed. Most of us cannot withhold the temptation to binge-watch Netflix, play Xbox, or overeat sugar (among thousand other things) let alone burn out at work to the point of losing health (maybe just go to the gym and eat right?). You want to buy a gift for a loved one - need money, you want to travel to your dream destination - need money, you want to improve your health and fitness - at some point, you will need money, you want to excel in life and help more people and your community - need money.

Now, do you simply need to chase $$$ in your life? Of course, not. You have to strive to be a well-rounded individual. Develop yourself in various domains of life and from various positions. Work on your finances, physical strength, longevity, health, EQ, communication skills, strengthen your faith (whichever one you have), etc. and etc.

So many things to master in life. And yet, this video specifically, just reminds you, that everyone who became rich and then said they are not happy, are simply either lying, or broken inside anyway, and money amplified who they always were. And finally, speaking for men out there, happiness is not a good metric for us anyway. On that, I will elaborate on a few other content pieces.
