This video shows what it looks like from the dive boat when cage diving at Guadalupe Island off the coast of Mexico. The Great White Sharks are there so they can feed on juvenile elephant seals because elephant seals use Guadalupe Island as a nursery each year in the late summer and fall. The water visibility is outstanding (80 to 100 feet). The shark in this video is a adult female great white shark in the 15 foot range. From my underwater videos, it is easy to see that these animals actually do look bigger underwater. You can also see in this video that these are careful animals that do not mindlessly attack everything they see. Oh, why do I say the shark in this video is a she, well, because she looks pregnant.
