The Valley Forge Series of Oil Paintings by Military Historical Artist Mark Maritato

In 2019, Mr. Maritato received a commission from the National Park Service Historic Park at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania to create a series of 17 illustrations for their visitors center remodel. Mr. Maritato worked for over two years to create hand-painted artworks in the form of oil paintings, that were then digitally scanned and reproduced to mural sized wall displays as well as life sized figure cut-outs that now enhance the educational experience for the visitors of one of the most visited national parks in the country. ThThe museum quality original oil painted artworks are now available to collectors.
