"Battle for Pervomaiskoe": PART 2 - the advancement of the 11th regiment of the NM DPR

After a successful attempt to gain a foothold in the private development of the village - we talked about this in the first part - the infantry squad of the 11th regiment continued the confrontation for control over the eastern region of Pervomaisky.

The soldiers successfully made a sortie in the direction of the forward positions of the 56th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located closer to the northern part of the Izmailovsky pond.

With intense fire support from a mortar platoon and cannon artillery of the NM DPR, the enemy’s defense line was shaken. The use of AGS-30 automatic grenade launchers made a huge contribution to suppressing the manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in closed positions.

The assault group combed the quarters and revealed the location of scattered groups of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine according to the reconnaissance copter. Methodically smoking out the Veseushniks from the basements and rooms of private houses, and then imposing close fire contact on them, the defenders of Donbass successfully pushed them back in the direction of Pervomayskaya Street.

After the successful completion of reconnaissance in force and the return of the fighters to a temporary advanced stronghold located in one of the households, enemy aerial reconnaissance was still able to reveal the position of the 11th regiment. This was followed by a fire impact from a 120-mm mortar.

The soldiers of the 11th regiment requested urgent counter-battery support, which was provided by the Grad MLRS from the Lozovoye area. The enemy mortar fell silent, and the soldiers began to rest and replenish the resource.
