Psalm of David 032 - Ψαλμός Δαυίδ 032

4

1 Tῷ David. Rejoice, ye righteous, in the Lord: praise be to the righteous.
2 Confess to the Lord on the guitar, sing to him on the ten-stringed psaltery.
3 You gave him a new song, you sang well in unison.
4 because the word of the Lord is true, and all his works are in faith;
5 He loves mercy and judgment, the earth is full of the Lord's mercy.
6 at the word of the Lord the heavens were established, and at the spirit of his mouth all their strength;
7 Synagogues like the waters of the sea, hidden in deep treasures.
8 let all the earth fear the Lord, and from him all the inhabitants of the earth shall be saved;
9 because he said, and they were born, he commanded, and they were created.
10 A lord amuses the councils of the nations, but destroys the calculations of peoples and destroys the councils of princes.
11 But the will of the Lord remains forever, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.
12 Blessed is the nation whose Lord is his God, a people whom he has chosen as his own inheritance.
13 The Lord looked down from heaven, he saw all the sons of men;
14 from his ready habitation he watched over all the inhabitants of the earth,
15 He who fashioned their hearts according to His own will, He who is united in all their works.
16 A king is not saved by much power, and a giant is not saved by the multitude of his strength.
17 A false horse to salvation, but when he is overcome by his power, he is not saved.
18 Behold, the eyes of the Lord are upon those who fear him, hoping in his mercy
19 Rescue their souls from death and feed them in famine.
20 our soul endures in the Lord, because he is our helper and defender;
21 because in him our heart rejoices, and in his holy name we hope.
22 May your mercy, Lord, be upon us, for we have put our hope in you.
