This if my first time ever casting pewter. This pewter was donated to me from a subscriber named, Brian B. Pewter has a lower melting point that makes it very easy to melt, unlike aluminum, copper, and brass. Pewter is a heavy metal, which makes open mold casting much better. This video will be metal casting pewter. I'm casting using a 2 part greensand mold. The pattern is a coin that I made using the lost foam casting method. I hope you like todays video.
