The 1980s Franciscan priest murders is a reference to the disappearances and/or murders of two Catholic priests between 1982 and 1984. Their mysterious fates are intertwined due to the similarities in the evidence linked to their cases. This is despite the name being a misnomer since only one of the two was a Franciscan.
