From joining the Peace corps at a young age to becoming an educator, to now becoming a real estate investor, Laura Jimenez has had her share of hardships and successes in her life. She now has a few rentals running and is finishing a glamping site.

“There’s no prescription for how to teach students, and that has positives and negatives. But I think that one of the positives it has is that it allows students to be exposed to lots of different styles of teaching and learning and I think that fosters a lot of creativity.”

“Kids need to be intentionally taught the difference between surviving and thriving. This is subjective for every person but I think at its core, people can reach the point where they can live the exact life that they want to live because money is not an issue. There are ways that you can create your life to be able to do that.”
