Trafficked on the streets to shot in the head: Milwaukee teen shares story of survival

A Milwaukee teen is turning pain into purpose after surviving the unthinkable. Recently paralyzed with a traumatic brain injury, a high school junior who goes by ’T’ has spent more time at the hospital over the past two years than in the classroom. But a procedure she received this week wasn’t for one of her injuries, rather to remove a tattoo that’s a constant reminder of her past.
